Bauhaus School

Have you ever heard of the Bauhaus School? The German school that marked the architecture and design, was founded by Walter Gropius in 1919 and ended its activities in 1933, yielding many twists and turns during history.

The Bauhaus period was very important for the history of art, because it was a moment of cultural renewal for artists, mixing handmade and industrial characteristics.

The great differential of this school was the presence of great names to teach the classes, such as Kandinsky, Klee, Schlemmer, and many others. Unfortunately, during the Nazi government, which was against the liberal ideals that the school used to preach, ordered the doors to be closed, as they were considered "communist". Interesting, isn't it?

In his career, one of the styles that most influenced the artist Cristiano Chaussard's will to develop an aesthetic sense, was his living with Bauhaus furniture in his childhood at his family's own home.
