We are often asked about the devaluation of art in Brazil, but then another question arises: is art devalued only in our country or worldwide? The answer is: it depends. Music, for example, despite having taken a more commercial path than a cultural one, is still highly valued all over the world. But the blame for all this is much more complex than we imagine, nowadays, these artistic modalities are seen as "rich people's things", but not always because of ignorance, but because of the lack of resources and early contact with art. This scenario needs to be changed, art is expression, art is culture!
